Ugh this sucks. Jon Olsson’s RS6 DTM Avant was stolen at gunpoint last night.

Found burnt to the ground today. Sucks, but something exciting will replace it.

I doubt he makes much money as a freeskier. No-one does, normally, because there are so many incredibly talented guys who also want the work. And of course insurance would cover whatever was insured.

1. Go to bank.

2. Get as much money as possible in $1 bills (I know this wasn’t in the US).

3. Steal RS6

4. Speed around as fast as possible, throwing money out of the sunroof.

Olsson is doing well for himself. Very marketable guy. I’m sure he makes a killing in sponsorship money.

He’s clearly doing pretty well, but I think you’d be surprised at how little the sponsorship is worth. Free cars, skis, helicopter flights and so-on, but I doubt there’s much cash.

I don’t know, I could be wrong, but the whole setup sounds so much like an insurance job that I’m sure the investigators will be looking at it very closely indeed.
